Position Overview

King Price Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its Dealerships Business Unit in Pretoria. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations between King Price and its dealership partners by handling administrative tasks, financial processes, communication, and reporting functions.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and highly capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to build lasting relationships with dealerships and account managers, and excellent administrative and planning abilities.


Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant in the Dealerships division, you will be responsible for supporting the operational and financial processes that keep the dealerships team running effectively. Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Dealership Communication: Acting as the first point of contact for dealerships outside of the organization, ensuring queries, requests, and information are handled efficiently and professionally.

  • General Administration: Carrying out day-to-day administrative duties, such as managing emails, filing, and handling correspondence.

  • Financial Processes: Compiling payment lists, assisting with finance procedures, and following up to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

  • Data Management: Capturing monthly lead data accurately on Excel spreadsheets and maintaining up-to-date records.

  • Reporting: Preparing and submitting daily statistical reports to keep management informed about dealership activities and progress.

  • Interdepartmental Support: Following up on urgent queries across different departments to ensure that dealership issues are resolved quickly.

  • Relationship Management: Maintaining excellent working relationships with assigned dealerships and their account managers, ensuring a high level of service delivery.

  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas within administrative and dealership processes that can be improved, and recommending practical solutions.

  • Team Support: Providing direct support to account managers and dealerships by handling queries, assisting with requests, and ensuring operational efficiency.


Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:

  • Education: Matric certificate or an equivalent qualification (essential).

  • Experience: At least 1 year of proven administrative experience, ideally in a fast-paced business or dealership environment.

  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook (intermediate to advanced level preferred).

  • Driver’s Licence: A valid driver’s licence with access to reliable transportation.

  • Languages: Being multilingual will be considered a strong advantage when dealing with diverse dealerships and clients.
