Qualifications and Essential Skills:
Data capture are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. While prior work experience is not a prerequisite, a strong foundation is essential. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to education and foundational learning.
Beyond academic qualifications, we are looking for individuals who can seamlessly integrate into our operations and contribute effectively from day one. This requires a solid understanding of basic office tasks, including but not limited to, filing, data entry, and professional communication.
Crucially, successful candidates will exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling them to interact effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public. A natural aptitude for numerical data and accuracy is vital, as the role involves working with various data sets and reports. Proficiency in computer literacy is paramount, encompassing a comfortable working knowledge of standard office software and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems. The capacity to efficiently gather and synthesize information from various sources is also a key attribute we value.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
The Administrative Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Comprehensive Office Support: Providing invaluable assistance with a wide range of office tasks, ensuring daily operations run seamlessly.
 - Data Management and Integrity:
- Accurately inputting and meticulously updating information within our computer systems and databases.
 - Developing and maintaining various spreadsheets to track critical data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
 - Proactively keeping our internal systems current with all relevant and up-to-date information.
 - Performing rigorous information verification to ensure correctness, completeness, and consistency, thereby guaranteeing the highest quality of data.
 
 - Statistical Reporting and Analysis:
- Generating and compiling regular statistical information and reports, contributing to informed decision-making and operational oversight.
 
 - Document Management and Tracking:
- Efficiently receiving, meticulously registering, and diligently tracking all incoming papers and files designated for further processing within the organizational department. This includes ensuring proper classification and accessibility.
 
 - Digital Transformation and Record Keeping:
- Systematically inputting routine tasks into the computer system, often involving the crucial process of converting information from physical paper documents to digital files, contributing to our ongoing efforts for a paperless and efficient environment.
 
 - General Office and Maintenance Tasks:
- Undertaking regular office upkeep duties, including the accurate updating and filing of physical documents.
 - Ensuring computer-based information is consistently updated for the purpose of generating timely and accurate reports.
 
 - Database Management:
- Actively managing and maintaining the DHIS (District Health Information System) database, a critical component of our data infrastructure.
 
 - Information Retrieval:
- Efficiently sourcing and retrieving necessary information as required by various departments and stakeholders.
